It's a rainy, gray, Saturday morning in my humble little town and what do I decide to do? Go out on a crazy adventure to get some crafts and candy for a dear friend who will be leaving our ward next week.
This friend like me suffers from anxiety, but unfortunately I fear hers is even worse. I figured moving must be really hard on her so I wanted to do some sort of nice gesture to hopefully help ease the anxiety that goes with moving wards and homes.
And thus the "Care-bag" "Goodie-bag?" idea was born!
I gathered some of my favorite "anxiety relievers" such as my favorite (CAFFEINE FREE obv) teas, face masks, and these steam eye things that honestly are gonna save my life! Plus some of my favorite candies and tried to wrap it up ala, "goody-bag" style. Which turned out to be way harder then I thought!
Peep my dog on the bottom right❤
Seriously top three things I cant live without are Mambas, the Tazo Passion tea, and steam eye mask!
And with some struggle I managed to make it up into a very messy, but hopefully appreciated gift bag!
...
thought that counts okay...
Hopefully she likes it lol
But as I showed my dad he commented on how "Mormon" my little idea was which made me laugh because that's exactly what I told Hailey when we were busting a mission walking in the rain to get the stuff!
Anyone familiar with the LDS community knows that it's not uncommon especially for us LDS ladies to make little goodies for members that are leaving or struggling.
Which kind of makes me a bit proud because I was worried my lack of creativity and talent would hold me back lol Hence why I had to blog it because this is probably the most effort I put into anything sadly.
